Well, we were supposed to hit the Bras'dor Lakes today for a little boating action, some swimming and a few beverages, but alas Hurricane Bill decided to make an appearance and it was cancelled.  Luckily, it was still warm and sunny inland, so we made our way to Dave's house for a little pool party.

It was great to see some of the old friends again.  Good times.

A little weekend trip to Louisburg for Crab Fest!

This week saw Sidney Crosby make an appearance in Cole Harbour, his hometown, for a little parade to celebrate his Stanley Cup victory.  He was accompanied by Maxime Talbot, who also made the trip.  Sidney won his first Stanley Cup this year after losing in the finals in 2008 to the Detroit Red Wings.  I guess "The Next One" proved his worth.  We were all in attendance of course.
