Well, well, well.  I experienced my first earthquake today as a temblor reaching 7.4 on the Richter scale rocked St. Kitts and Nevis and the rest of the Caribbean as far south as Trinidad and Tobega at about 3pm.  I was downtown when the quake hit and workers fled buildings and congregated in the streets when it hit.  I was by the water and I didn't feel it as much as some others in the area.  Apparently this was the third earthquake for the week, but it was the first that was so widespread and felt by so many people.

You can find all the details and maps on the USGS website.

Here is a classic Wheel Of Fortune moment where the lady achieved what must have been the most epic fall from grace in the history of the show.  It's incredible that she was unable to come up with the answer considering the overwhelming amount of letters she had uncovered and the huge amount of money involved for that show.  I think I heard Pat Sajak's voice crack when he said her total.

The irony of the puzzle solution is just incredible...

Here is a little interview on a Dutch talk show where the guest accidentally had his testicles removed and is obviously involved in a medical malpractice suit now.  The interviewer loses it and apparently also lost his job.  Too funny.  You'd never catch Oprah acting like this.  I'm surprised the audience isn't cracking up more.

Here's a little short film about a "tricky" normal day in our lives that is very interesting.  I would be awful curious to see how many takes it took to complete the whole thing from start to finish.  I also wonder if they had the rights to use the music that they used in the film...  but very enjoyable nonetheless.

This Kenyan must be in a complete daze to get hit by this tram.  In the immortal words of Seinfeld, "That's a shame...".

It seems they're letting the deaf and blind run marathons now. There seem to be a few kinks to work out...

Happy Birthday Larry O!  We headed to Blu for dinner before hitting the beach bar scene for some drinks in celebration of Larry O's birthday.  Since it was a Tuesday, the bar scene was slow, but we had enough people with us to bring our own party wherever we went.  Turned out to be a great day, except for the fire ants attacking Larry O on the golf course.  But that is a story for another day...

It was also good to see a little taste of Canada at one of the beach bars.

This is a classic fishing line prank that a rather immature dude plays on his wife.  Wonder how long he'll be married?  I do like the shirt she is wearing at the end though..."That's How I Roll"...

Daron reels in his first Mahi Mahi in this short video.  I love the vibrant colors on the dolphin fish.  This video, along with the pictures below, were taken during our recent deep sea fishing trip.

The best part of the deep sea fishing excursion came when we cooked up the fish with some rice and salad.  We ended up barbequing the Mahi Mahi and pan frying the Mackerel.  The Mahi Mahi was good, but the Mackerel was absolutely delicious.  The four bottles of Pinot Grigio we cracked certainly helped make for an entertaining night.

Deep Sea Fishing was on the menu today as we went in search of some big game fish.  We headed to the channel between St. Eustatius and St. Kitts to skirt the outer banks in search of some Wahoo.  Although we went fishing for Wahoo, we ended up catching Mackerel and Mahi Mahi.

The boat was pretty nice and very roomy inside.  It had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen and a huge living area with a leather sofa, bar and even air conditioning.

Here's the rest of the story in pictures:

Unfortunately Vasil lost his cookies with the rocking of the boat, but fortunately he was the only one...

Vasil is shown here with a Mackerel.  Daron has the Mahi Mahi in the second pic.

And last but not least, we had our trusty liferaft in case anything happened on the high seas...
