Doing a little liming at the Rainbow Bar on the beach in South Frigate Bay.  Around these parts, when you go out to party they call it "liming".

Here's a few more pictures I got my hands on from the cricket match.

Craig Stanford is standing up in back.  Then we have Mike Prendergast, Samantha Prendergast and Daron Pearson in the back row.  Peter Page, Warwick Greenwood and Eric Davidson round out the front.  In the other photo, Brian Lara is apparently regarded as the best Cricket batsman in the world.  Warwick and Trecia are in the last photo.

I attended my first ever Cricket match today.  The West Indies were playing India.  It's funny how you never think how popular a sport is until you work with quite a few people from other countries.  Cricket is immensely popular in other parts of the world from what I hear and my experience at the match only proved that.

I ended up leaving early as I got fairly bored after a couple of hours.  The game is somewhat similar to baseball in concept, but because one team does all their hitting at first, they are up to plate for about 4 hours.  Then the other team bats for 4 hours.  Makes for a long day.  I'm used to North American sports that are over in three hours.

You can see the balloon for Scotiabank in the background.  It's funny how I traveled all the way to the Caribbean and do all my banking here at the Royal Bank of Canada and The Bank of Nova Scotia.  A little ironic to say the least.

We put on a Legends Golf Tournament for quite a few celebrities.  As part of the deal we also hosted a Poker Tournament and Blackjack Tournament for them as well in the casino.  Many of the celebrities were athletes with quite a few of them from Professional Football.  What I found interesting was how many of the celebrities were falling all over themselves to meet the Professional Cricket players who were in town for the upcoming match on the 23rd at the stadium here in Basseterre.  I guess Cricket is more popular than I thought.  It looks like I'll be in attendance with a few of the people I work with to see what the fuss is all about.

Lauren's son Kadin got a new bike for his birthday.  Here he tries it out in behind Lauren's house at the park.

It was a Spiderman bike of course.  Lauren and her daughter Malina are giving a helping hand.

Well, I participated in the first round of the Degree Poker Championships at my old stomping ground the Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort.  Out of the 250 in my group, the top 20 move on to the semifinals.  Unfortunately for me, I landed in the not-so-coveted 21st position.  So I was the last person eliminated before the rest move on.  That brought a good laugh from my old colleagues at the casino.  Oh well, better luck next year as they say.

Well, the movie is finished shooting.  What a great time.  One of the best experiences I've ever had.  Must be great to do the acting thing for a living.  Check out all the details of "A Fine Line" in the film section.  Time to ship out to Niagara Falls tomorrow.

What a great actress!  One day when she's famous I'll be able to say I worked with her.
